Departmental Award for Excellence in
Undergraduate Teaching Recipients 1995-2007
The CTE-Lilly Fellows
established the Departmental Award for Excellence in Undergraduate
Teaching in order to recognize new programs to improve learning.
This award, presented annually to a department or program, is part
of CTE’s effort to publicly acknowledge innovative work at the
program level. A campus-wide celebration of effective institutional
support for learning contributes to the University’s commitment to
strong undergraduate teaching as an important mission. Additionally,
this award encourages small-scale, yet institutional, enhancements.
Recipients of this award have established programs informed by local
needs and driven by local expertise.
