As is clear to all who have begun the first day of any course, effective teaching requires awareness of our physical presence in and movement around the classroom. This 3-hour hands-on workshop will address the issue of teaching as a particular sort of performance. Dr. Leslie Felbain from the Department of Theater will introduce participants to simple strategies for increasing teaching effectiveness in the classroom.
